Maxiss Modern is a sustainable lifestyle boutique in downtown San Antonio. The owner brings retail expertise from working in New York’s Manhattan Art and Antiques Center, the diamond district, and the garment district of New York City. She found joy and community in local commerce by owning and operating a high-end consignment shop in Brooklyn, New York for over 6 years.  While Maxiss Modern offers many aspects of sustainable retail, highlighting vintage items as a main source for quality and cultural aesthetics is important in it's brand styling. The word ‘modern’ is subjective and by incorporating our love for nostalgia or items that tell a story about our past, modernism becomes who we are in the present. PARKING: Customer parking is available in a private parking lot around the corner from the store, located on 6th Street between N. Alamo and Broadway.
